EXPERIENCE THE ISLAND OF SIFNOS FROM ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE
Sifnos is an island of medium size in the Western Cyclades between Serifos to the northwest, Kimolos to the southwest and Antiparos to the east. It is located in a distance of approximately 130 kilometers or 80 nautical miles from Piraeus, covering an area of 73,942 km², 15 kilometers long and 7.5 kilometers wide. Its coastline has a length of about 70 km.
If you rent one of our boats you will have the privilege to admire the entire southern and southwestern part of the island by sea and enjoy secluded beaches not easily accessible by land. From Platis Gialos bay you may set off for the eastern route to Faros and Panagia Chrissopigi, or choose the southwest direction to Fikiada sandy beach; if you continue further north you shall reach the alluring bay of Vathi.
Towards the north of Vathi, in the western coast of the island, there are small beaches reachable only by boat (Chochlaki, Vlichada, Tsoha, Tosso Nero – also accessible by trail). Continuing your north course and having passed Kamares, you will arrive at Gialoudia Cove, a small beach with pebbles and crystal clear waters. Near Gialoudia you will find the beaches of Vroulidia and Artimoni.
